Window FAQs

Frequently asked questions
Windows and doors

     Q. Are you FENSA registered?
     A. Yes.
Since 2002 if you do not use a FENSA registered installer you will have to apply to, and pay for building regulations in order to replace your windows.

     Q. Is your work guaranteed?

     A. Yes, all our work is guaranteed for up to twenty years.

We offer insurance backed guarantees, which means that you are completely covered even in the event that the company ceases to trade.

     Q. Are you insured to work on my property?

     A. Yes, fully.

Accidents seldom happen, but if they do we are covered for every eventuality up to two million pounds.

     Q. Do you remove all the old windows and rubbish?

     A. Yes, we clear the site completely.

We are registered with the environment agency and recycle as much waste as possible.

     Q. Will I receive a certificate to show that the work has been carried out correctly?

     A. Yes, a completion certificate will be issued directly from FENSA.

You will need a completion certificate to prove that the windows have been fitted correctly and that they comply with current building regulations, the certificate is now a compulsory document and you will need to be able to provide it as part of the ‘home information pack’ (HIPS)  should you ever want to sell your house.
